Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 reintroduces Nuketown

Activision plans on releasing the Nuketown map on today in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Having reviews and the stressful launch window under their belt, the team at Activision released some updates to the public. These updates seemingly will prepare the game for the season 1 launch, coming November 14.

Activision posted on their page the following about the Nuketown release coming very soon: “The original Nuketown is back! This homage to the version players first encountered in Call of Duty: Black Ops is an exact โ€” though graphically much improved โ€” version of the original, keeping the classic 1950s design of the Nevada testing site.”

Coming with this update, Call of Duty is also bringing in the Infected game mode. Treyarch confirmed the return of the fan-favorite game mode in the same post.

Smash Jump’s Adrian Cozmuta wrote in his review: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a return to form for the franchise and deserves a spot among the best Call of Duty titles. BO6 is a complete top-to-bottom Call of Duty package, featuring an explosive campaign, a fun and frantic multiplayer and Zombies mode, the most dynamic gunplay and movement yet, and an all-around outstanding presentation.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC as well as Game Pass platforms.
