Creepy Jar reveals frantic StarRupture gameplay with new trailer

The developers behind the acclaimed survival game Green Hell are hard at work on their next title, StarRupture. Creepy Jar has just unveiled the first teaser of StarRupture’s gameplay.

The gameplay reveal, uploaded to Creepy Jar’s YouTube channel, showcases the new world that players will soon be able to explore. The teaser highlights base-building elements, a switch to a science fiction setting, and first-person shooter gameplay.

In StarRupture, players can craft massive bases on a hostile alien world. They must defend themselves not only from the planet’s inhabitants but also from environmental threats such as solar flares and other unpredictable events.

Creepy Jar is focusing StarRupture on three core gameplay pillars: combat, exploration, and base building. While these are the central concepts, the trailer also hints that survival aspects like thirst and hunger will play a significant role in the gameplay.

StarRupture does not yet have a release date and is currently slated to launch on PC via Steam. Given Creepy Jar’s history of bringing Green Hell to multiple platforms, there is hope that StarRupture will eventually be available on other platforms as well.
