Cronos: The New Dawn is getting an Easy Mode next year

Bloober Team is riding high on its latest title, Cronos: The New Dawn, and its pretty solid reception, but the journey is not over as the team aims to introduce an Easy Mode in 2026.

Dubbed Temporal Diver, the new trailer takes some lighthearted jabs with a Traveler taking calls from customers asking for an easier difficulty so they can experience the story. Basically, the new mode is being added to those who want a less punishing experience, but of course, it’s just a difficulty, meaning you can totally keep chugging along on whatever difficulty you’d like.

Frankly, it’s funny to see Bloober Team, which has seen success with both Cronos and its last game, Silent Hill 2 Remake, do somewhat of a 180 compared to other developers, which will normally introduce a harder difficulty later down the line.

There isn’t any sort of concrete date to when Temporal Diver Mode will launch outside of “early 2026.”
