RPG hit Dragon Quest Buildersย launchesย February 13 on Steam with previous DLC included at no additional cost.

Square Enix announced in an official press release that the upcoming PC version includes upgraded crafting features and the โ€œTerra Incognitaโ€ DLC. This DLC includes the Boss Monster Model, Astronomy, Pixel Ring, and Magic Carpet sets. Square Enix described these as:

  • Boss Monster Model Set โ€“ Builders can unpack several giant posable monster figures that can be added to their worlds.
  • Astronomy Set โ€“ Builders can light up the night sky with ten stars and planets to bring the beauty of the galaxy to their backyard.
  • Pixel Ring โ€“ More than just a pretty accessory, Builders can wear a Pixel Ring that grants higher number of โ€œpixelsโ€ when defeating an enemy in โ€œTerra Incognitaโ€, which they can then use to create special items on the โ€œDragon Quest Game Packโ€ workstation.
  • Magic Carpet โ€“ Builders can use a magic carpet as they observe, build, and explore their structures from the sky, as well as listen to special music as they travel.

Dragon Quest Builders is the first entry of the popular block-building sandbox RPG series, originally launched on PS4. The Dragon Quest Builders and Dragon Quest Builders 2ย bundle is also available on PC. Players who previously purchasedย Dragon Quest Builders 2ย on Steam can also purchase DQ Builders at a discounted price on the Steam Store. The game is also available on Android, iOS, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

We had great fun with Dragon Quest Builders when it originally came out on PS4. We are happy to see it being introduced to PC players alongside its sequel. Here’s to many hours of crafting madness!

More Smash Jump: Stardew Valley developer Eric โ€œConcernedApeโ€ Baroneโ€™s next major update is planned to be โ€œlarger in scopeโ€ than previously planned, check out Daniel’s review of Another Code: Recollection, and a new Elden Ring DLC may be on the horizon.
