The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is currently the last Bethesda Studios’ project confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. It will include the latest content and updates available to match the version on other gaming platforms, letting players fully explore Cyrodiil as the ideal, preferred warrior.
Bethesda has kept the Nintendo Switch 2 features in mind when developing the port, similar to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, confirming the implemented unique motion controls. The developers also implemented DLSS support, letting the game run at 900p 30fps for handheld mode while docked mode functions at 1080p 30fps.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will launch in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. Standard Edition will provide the base game, story expansions for Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, and multiple downloadable content (Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, The Orrery, and the Horse Armor Pack). The Deluxe version will include all Standard Edition content and an extra digital code of the unique quests for Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armors, Weapons, and Horse Armor Sets. Anyone who purchased the Standard Edition can easily upgrade to the Deluxe Edition with its separate Deluxe upgrade pack.
Both editions will be available physically and digitally when the game officially launches on August 11, 2026. It’s currently available for preorder through multiple retailers, like Amazon and Nintendo eShop.
