Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim receives Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade with new improvements

Bethesda recently announced a huge upgrade for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch 2. The free enhancements are currently available with the following improvements for better play:

  • enhanced resolution with DLSS anti-aliasing
  • improved loading times
  • optimized performance
  • motion controls
  • support for mouse controls and Amiibo

The Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade is exclusive to Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, which includes years’ worth of content like the three official expansions, an extensive selection of Creation Club items, and the exclusive Legend of Zelda items. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is available on Nintendo Switch with the full base game purchase or a separate upgrade pack.
