New survey claims half of the UK gamer respondents aren’t planning on buying GTA 6

A new survey has indicated that half of the United Kingdom gaming population — that responded to the survey — aren’t planning on buying Grand Theft Auto 6 when it releases potentially next year. Granted, these sorts of surveys are bound to have some sort of variable to make them dubious from time to time.

Hosted by Statista, the survey has three options, with the stats acquired from a small pool of gamers ahead of the trailer’s debut. With the trailer reaching an audience of over 180 million on YouTube alone, we’re sure this has swayed opinions. We’ll also note the small pool that the survey had — 513 respondents.

Now, the UK has a massive gamer base with around half the population playing video games. If it was truly a large pool, this would be a detrimental number, but at the same time, even among this small pool, the trailer could’ve changed their minds. It’s also still regardless some ways away, with its earliest time being next year, with the potential of getting delayed into 2026.
