New trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero asks the age old question sword vs. fists

What is a better weapon: a fist or a sword? This is a challenging question, and Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero’s new trailer makes it even harder to answer.

As we get closer to the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, fans are being treated to a multitude of reveals. The newest trailer, uploaded to YouTube by publisher Bandai Namco, highlighted 12 new characters that will be included in the game’s launch roster.

  • Super Vegito
  • Jiren
  • Future Trunks (Super)
  • Roasie
  • Ribrianne
  • Yajirobe
  • Spopovich
  • Dabura
  • Mr. Satan
  • Anilaza
  • Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct -SIGN-
  • Goku Black (Super Sayian Rose)

With the newly and previously revealed characters, it appears that just about everyone will be featured in this game. While some characters may have cloned or unoriginal movesets, for better or worse, everyone who has been a part of Dragon Ball history has a chance to shine.

As the game’s official launch nears, more trailers like this can be expected. The roster still has quite a few spots left, and a season pass is coming with the game that will include three content packs totaling over 20 playable characters.

The game will feature local fighting modes, story modes, and online multiplayer.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 11
