A new Wolfenstein game is supposedly in the works, potentially tied into the Amazon MGM TV show that’s in the pipeline.
As reported by Windows Central, Wolfenstein III has been discussed, which would mark MachineGames’ return to the series after putting it on ice since 2019’s Wolfenstein: Young Blood in favor of the also Nazi-featuring Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. With previous statements, a third entry isn’t that shocking, though.
Since we’ve got a Developer Direct right around the corner, perhaps this will make some sort of appearance, but we wouldn’t hold our breath, as we’ll be getting in-depth looks at Fable, Forza Horizon 6, and Game Freak’s multiplat action RPG, Beast of Reincarnation. We’ll just have to wait and see what all is part of the January 22 showcase.
