PlayStation cuts off active servers for Destruction AllStars

Destruction AllStars was part of the PS5 launch lineup in early 2021. It was released with a batch of season one content, though it never received substantial support for a new season. Despite its underwhelming performance, PlayStation allowed the game to run for its fans until it declined enough for the company to suddenly shut it down.

According to an IGN report, Sony emailed its PlayStation user base about the Destruction AllStars shutdown before immediately removing it from the PlayStation Store. Anyone who owns the game can still play its single-player modes and use Destruction Points until its upcoming server shutdown on November 25, 2026.

The server shutdown will only leave the Arcade Mode single-player challenges accessible for play. Its multiplayer services were never fixed due to its technical issues, which the developer confirmed can’t be fixed before its final date.
