Mark your calendars, as Sony has announced that it will be hosting its first State of Play on Wednesday. State of Play will air starting at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET.

PlayStation has announced that over 15 games will be diving into over a 40-minute broadcast. Two games are set to receive extended looks are Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. Also included in the broadcast will be guest appearances from multiple people within the gaming industry. This news comes straight from the PlayStation Blog.

A few other games fans expect to see at this event are a remaster for Sonic Generations and Death Stranding 2. This follows a post on Twitter that has gained traction in recent days. The tweet was made as a riddle of sorts and was deciphered by another Twitter user. Following the official announcement of a new State of Play, Sonic Generations started trending on Twitter.

With rumors running amok, only time will tell what games will be covered in the newest State of Play and what new announcements are on the horizon.
