Reverse your fate and fight to win with the new gameplay overview for Bleach Rebirth of Souls.

Publisher Bandai Namco unveiled a new look at the upcoming Bleach game with a trailer that showcases a key moment from the anime: the duel between Byakuya and Ichigo over Rukia’s fate.

The trailer featured many aspects fans were hoping for and confirmed the first two characters for the game. Players can use Reverse Actions as a counter while defending, opening a gap to recover from devastating combos. Reverse Actions can also be used while attacking.

Additionally, players can utilize Spirit Pressure to unleash flashy attacks. Soul Reapers can awaken their true power and unleash Bankai, an enhanced state achievable after accumulating enough power.

The game introduces a unique approach to player health. Players must lower each other’s Reishi to deal damage, and each player has a Konpaku rating that must be depleted to win. This new mechanic will likely be further explored in uninterrupted gameplay reveals soon.

Based on this new gameplay overview, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls seems to be off to a great start in pleasing fans. Fans have been quite worried about this new title after a long wait since the last mainline Bleach game and the lackluster releases of other anime games. However, this fresh look offers hope and excitement for what’s to come.
