New game where you play as a secret agent dog, Barkour, revealed

Developer Varsav Studios, known for Bee Simulator, has introduced the world to its next game — Barkour. Get ready to play as a canine secret agent next year.

So far, all we’ve got are screenshots and a trailer posted to the IGN YouTube. Though, from the looks of it, it appears to be leaning heavily into the silliness of a secret agent dog.

It’s billed as an action-stealth game where you’ll explore different parts of the world, though, we suspect it’s more of a linear design with small zones you’ll be able to explore rather than an open world.

“Agent T.H.U.N.D.E.R. is a highly trained professional who is well aware of the stakes of each mission that he takes part in. However, he is still a playful dog at heart, who will charm you time and time again. His trusty AI sidekick, A.L.F.-RED, will ensure that his playful nature doesnโ€™t interfere with his mission completion.”

Barkour is due out on PC sometime in 2025.
