Sonic Racing Crossworlds reveals new collaborations coming for free

As Sonic Racing Crossworlds is nearing the end of season one, it invites multiple representatives from Sega itself. It isn’t just welcoming classic Sonic, but also Amigo from Samba de Amigo and Axel from Crazy Taxi. All three characters will be available to achieve with their vehicles through separate free updates.

Classic Sonic is the first racer to join the game with the update patch 1.4.1, which is currently available. The new patch brings the nostalgic hedgehog and his Mach Cyclone machine with multiple new additions:

  • 8 new gadgets
  • 15 new company collab decals
  • New Music and tracks for Sonic’s 35th anniversary
  • Newly implemented “Donpa Ticket Up Chance” for World Match

Axel and Samba will appear as the last free racers coming into Sonic Racing Crossworlds for season one. Along with the paid season pass schedule, Axel is scheduled to join with his Devolada Yellow Jack machine in August 2026, while Samba prepares his Locomotive de Amigo vehicle in September 2026. The game will continue to receive monthly support before transitioning to the announced season two.
