The official release date for Poppy Playtime Chapter 5

in News, PC News
Brandon Williamsby Brandon Williams
January 12, 2026

Mob Entertainment recently revealed more about the next chapter for Poppy Playtime. The Broken Things will feature the Prototype as the next, most dangerous challenger for the protagonist on February 18, 2026.

The trailer revealed the Prototype’s obsession with Poppy by exploring a laboratory-like environment that may relate to their origins. The prototype was also shown to be more mechanical with Arachnida-like legs and exoskeleton hands. While this is an opportunity to discover more lore about Poppy, the protagonist will have to overcome not just the foe’s threatening strength, but its strategic manipulation through its ever-changing voice.

Happy New Year! We hope your 2026 is off to a great start. Chapter 5 is on the horizon, are you ready for what’s coming next? ✨ pic.twitter.com/2eCOt3TJgU
