Tony Hawk assures fans “there will be a future” for the Pro Skater series

After previously claiming to be talking with Activision again, pro skater Tony Hawk has assured fans that “there will be a future” for the popular Pro Skater series. He isn’t supposed to tease anything… but there will be a future.

On Instagram, Hawk celebrated the 25-year anniversary of Pro Skater stating he’s immensely proud, thanking both Activision and Neversoft, the original developer. At the end of the post, though, he alludes to something bigger planned for the future. Perhaps this is indicating the long-awaited release of a new remake of its third and fourth entry, which was supposedly in the works before the studio was absorbed into the now-Xbox-owned developer.

Of course, as the pro skater himself notes, he isn’t technically allowed to tease anything, but we have a feeling some sort of announce isn’t too far away. We’ll just have to wait and see, we suppose.
