Unsurprisingly, Cyberpunk 2077 sequel will also be first-person

CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, dubbed at this time as Project Orion, will unsurprisingly remain a first-person experience. It’d be shocking if it was third-person quite frankly.

A recent senior gameplay animator job listing on LinkedIn spilled some details about the perspective of the game. Specifically the job at hand requires the hires “enhance the players immersive experience in first person view.” The selected animator would also be expected to “create visually appealing, immersive first person animation assets.”

Considering the game had set itself up for being a polar opposite compared to its other big IP, The Witcher, this revelation that the game will continue the same first-person perspective we’ve come to expect might not be that big of a deal to some.

As far as we’re aware, the Cyberpunk sequel is in the early stages of development, but we can expect life paths having a bigger influence on the story,
