Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is the upcoming upgrade to features new enhancements and content for the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s confirmed to launch with a physical release and Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade on March 26, 2026, along with three exclusive amiibos.
The video has revealed several new additions for those who enjoy cooperative play. The Attraction Central will feature new co-op attractions in Local Multiplayer Plaza and Game Room Plaza. Up to four local friends participate in 17 new games in the Local Multiplayer Plaza on the same console or through GameShare. Up to 12 players can also connect via wireless or online play for the six new attractions in Game Room Plaza.
The game also features new challenges through its upcoming additions — the Toad Brigade Training Camp and Koopalings. Up to four local players can tackle various training challenges to rank up in the Toad Brigade Training Camp, unlocking more challenging levels. This can help players prepare for the Koopalings, who stole the Bellabel Flowers and hid in the Flower Kingdom. Once they’re discovered, they’ll use Wonder powers to defend themselves and create diverse obstacles, which will affect the levels’ difficulties.
The new upgrade will also feature brand-new characters from Super Mario Galaxy. Rosalina can utilize different power-ups like the other humans and Toads during the Flower Kingdom adventure. Co-Star Luma can also join the fun with abilities to float and defeat enemies with ease without taking damage. It’s also controllable with the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con mouse controls, though it’s only available during local multiplayer.
