Too Kyo Games made a huge comeback from the growing success of The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. There is still more to expect from the RPG as the creator, Kazutaka Kodaka, discussed the game’s future support during the RPGsite interview.
It’s been confirmed that Kodaka is looking to expand the game with DLC. Its current design greatly helps open opportunities to widen the story and add new characters through the in-game branching routes. He’ll even take a chance to work with other writers for unique, immersive experiences.
“Routes expanding lore or adding characters, and even collaborations with other writers. Hundred Line’s structure allows limitless possibilities.”
Kodaka also stated releasing globally for Steam as essential, along with the Nintendo Switch. He even mentioned some thoughts about releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 edition. The studio currently has no plans to release the game on other gaming platforms, like PlayStation and Xbox. It may change in the future, though the developers are currently focusing on its support for the current gaming platforms, which may reveal more news about its official DLC additions later.
