A new demo is available for Metal: Hellsinger VR

It’s time to enjoy the love letter to metal, Metal: Hellsinger, in VRโ€”or at least get a sneak peek at the game, as a demo has been released on Steam. This coincides with the announcement that the game will launch this fall.

After previously being announced for VR, Metal: Hellsinger received a new trailer on YouTube confirming the game’s fall release. Along with this confirmation came the surprise of a new demo available to try now.

The demo features the first two levels of the game, Voke and Stygia. In addition to these levels, players can explore a brand-new lobby area, which allows them to choose music, weapons, missions, and more.

The demo will feature four different weapons that players can choose from, each available to aim freely in VR — no rail shooting unless you want to play that way. Each weapon will also feature a unique tempo that players must match to the music.

As of now, the demo is only available on Steam, but it may be available on other platforms in the near future. The game is set to release on the Meta Quest platform, Steam, and PlayStation VR2.
