Bandai Namco is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Tales of franchise through a unique cover art by Ufotable. The special art includes the Tales of protagonists that were recently released for modern platforms, except for one.
Bandai Namco has confirmed the new art is celebrating the latest Tales of games released for modern consoles, yet Luke was included in the art. He is the Tales of Abyss protagonist who never received his latest release in 2025-2026, yet he’s present with other main characters like Velvet Crowe. Lloyd wasn’t even included in the art despite Tales of Symphonia Remastered being part of the Remastered Project.
The series is also bringing its celebration to the public with the Tales of 30th Museum. It’s taking place on the 6th and 7th floors of the Movida Building at Seibu Shibuya in Japan. Since the franchise has grown with many games, the event will rotate exhibits between two volumes of the Tales of games. The Volume 1 event is scheduled between November 28, 2025, and December 17, 2025; Volume 2 event will open between December 19 and January 12.
