Far Cry spin-off maybe in the works

An unannounced Far Cry spin-off, dubbed Captain Laserhawk Niji Warrior, has seemingly received a PEGI rating, indicating something’s in the works. Meanwhile, Ubisoft is also still working on Far Cry 7.

Game Rant spotted the PEGI rating, which labels its sole target platform as PC, though we doubt it will be PC exclusive. The game will don all the standard Ubisoft fixings, including cosmetic microtransactions and exaggerated death sequences, it seems. Of course, this all just a rumor, and unfortunately, it seems the outlet didn’t archive the link, solely sharing a screenshot. At the same time, it wouldn’t be too shocking if this were real.

The game, as the name suggests, will likely have the player play as one or more of the Niji 6, combating villainy in all their rainbow glory. Outside of its violence and microtransactions, the game seems to feature a deathmatch mode to see who can eliminate the most enemies.
