Atlus quickly brought Persona 3 Reload to Nintendo Switch 2 to provide the remade Persona 3 experience to more fans as quickly as possible. This decision would limit the Nintendo Switch 2 port to a locked 30 FPS gameplay, being a worse version than other platforms. The dev previously planned to bring post updates for the latest platform release to improve the SEES experience.
The latest update raised the gameplay to 60 FPS in docked mode, providing both performance and quality modes in the configuration menu. It also stabilized the framerate for both handheld and docked modes while providing some bug fixes.
