Ubisoft has finally announced the release date for The Rogue Prince of Persia for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It will launch on both Nintendo platforms on December 16, 2025.

The game returns to the series’ 2D roots with an immersive story about the Prince exploring his kingdom, which he ruined. He needs to decide the right path through his cursed city to save the innocents while choosing the most preferred tools and weapons to defend himself. Evil Empire previously released a video about the game’s uniqueness, such as the in-game soundtrack and Prince’s acrobatic options.
