Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is launching earlier than planned

Dragami Games is shifting the release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and unveiling its price at the same time. Originally dated for September 25, the release has been pulled forward a few weeks.

Game designer Yoshimi Yasuda confirmed this on Twitter, noting that its digital version is hitting digital marketplaces on September 12 in the west and Europe. He also confirmed that the game will retail at $44.99.

The hotly anticipated remaster features new content as well as mechanics, but if fans want to just enjoy the old style, they can toggle between the new and old styles. Considering what Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda said about Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, it’s all too possible if Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP does well; a new entry could be on the table, though, considering the game’s ending, we’re not sure how it could continue.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP launches to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 12.
