It’s official — the highly anticipated action RPG Sand Land has a release date, and it’s sooner than many thought. Publisher Bandai Namco confirmed that the game will be arriving on April 26 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The Bandai Namco announcement, however, does not mention any release for the Nintendo Switch yet. Of course, that does not mean the Switch may not eventually receive a launch.
Step into the vast desert and travel even further in a journey to find the Legendary Spring, fabled to be able to bring an end to the drought that has taken over the world. But it isn’t as easy as just finding the Legendary Spring, as there is also the Royal Army to worry about. Luckily, Beezlebub and his friends have a variety of customizable vehicles to help them survive.
Also confirmed are the different editions of Sand Land available for pre-order. For fans looking for more from the Sand Land world, there is a digital deluxe edition and also a physical collector’s edition. The deluxe edition includes in-game decals, furniture packs, and the Speed Demon pack. The collector’s edition includes a Beezlebub figurine by S.H. Figuarts. With any pre-order comes a few in-game skins for the vehicles. You can find out more about these options from the Sand Land official website.
Sand Land was one of the surprise reveals of last year’s Summer Games Fest. Based on the art of Akira Toriyama, legendary Dragon Ball creator, this action RPG is sure to delight our senses. We are excited to join Beezelbub and his friends on a journey to save the world on April 26.
More Smash Jump: Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo is out now for PS4 and PS5 ahead of its full release on February 1, and be wary as Steam no longer supports Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.
