Fans of Stardew Valley are no doubt hyped as the 1.6 update draws closer by the day. We already know the update is heading to PC before consoles with a confirmed date — for PC — being March 19, so next week. For console fans, though, it may take a little longer, but it will come out as soon as possible, but unfortunately, we still don’t have a launch date.
On Twitter, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone shared a random line from the update’s patch notes, which he’s started working on. Particularly, he touched on fruit trees and how some changes are heading our way. It wasn’t long, though, before fans flooded the tweet with questions about this change.

From the sounds of it, this move is going to allow players to grow trees faster and allow players to move them more effectively without having worries of tampering with the quality of the fruit.
Stardew Valley has seen great success and we don’t think saying this update is the most anticipated update does it that much justice. This game has been going on for over seven years with love from its developer and this one is going to show that even more. As it stands, 1.6 has proven “larger in scope” than Barone expected it would with new dialogue, better multiplayer, and overall improvements all around it seems.
